Good morning! I hope everyone is having a great morning and staying warm…it is FREEZING and WINDY out here. My car was bouncing around when I was driving in; I felt like I was playing Bumper Cars with the wind and the wind was winning!
Do you guys ever feel like you are writing in your diary when you are blogging? “Dear Diary, Jimmy looked at me in gym class” lol
Ayer was a super busy day for me. I fueled up with a yummy lunch at work; I had 1/2 a cup of Brown Rice with 1 cup of Spanish Style Roman Beans with Onions and Pepper, and 1/2 a Banana.
I became snacky later in the afternoon and found these in my drawer
After work I rushed to the mechanic so he could check out my radio but he couldn’t fix it. Why is it that when you go the mechanic for one thing, you leave with another think not working???? I then rushed home to change, feed my dog, pick up my workout equipment and drove to the Rockaways to train my new client. The session went pretty well but I know that this is going to be a long journey but I have the faith that I can help her.
God works in mysterious ways…When I got home from the training session; I was doubting if I could help her but when I started to put some things away I came across this card
Which my nutritionist gave me a few years back when we were about to end our work together and I was beginning my personal training. On the inside she wrote
“I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to guide you in your weight loss endeavor. You helped in making my job more meaningful and I needed you as much you needed me. My reward was to you see you become successful in losing weight and to become the person you truly are. Over the past year I have watched you transform from a self doubting quiet girl to a vivacious strong independent woman. Now its your turn to help someone make the transition.”
I have not seen this card in ages and the fact that I came across it ayer, tells me that I have to help this woman! Oh and I also managed to burn 301 Calories while training her =)
By the time I got home I was STARVING! I started to make din din around 8:30. I threw some Brussels Sprouts in the Oven with EVOO, Salt, and Garlic. I also Baked some Tofu in Sesame Teriyaki Sauce, Ketchup, Syrup, Szechuan Sauce, BBQ Sauce, and Garlic Powder and left over Cranberry and Apple Sauce.
I came across this Tofu recipe on allrecipes.com but I made some changes because I didn’t have all the items on hand. I don’t think I liked it too much lol. How do you make your Tofu?????
After Dinner I tried a new Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa that I picked up. It tasted Okay but I would not buy it again. It had a chalky after taste.

This morning I tried one of the Full Body Circuit Training Routines. Pro: It got my heart pumping. Con: It was too short! and it doesn’t tell you the duration of the workout before you do it. I like going in and knowing what I am about to tackle.
The full body workout only lasted like 20 minutes. You also have the option to create your own workouts or do single moves etc. I tried some of the single moves and I liked them too, I just have to figure out the Range of Motion because I kept getting “red” on some of the moves. I ended up burning 310 Calories in 45 Minutes. I am going to try out the Resolution Feature and I will report back on that, when I start it. I have to play around with it some more, to fully understand the capabilities of it but so far I like it. I am sure once I figure it out, I will love it (I hope)
Before coming into work I had to run to the supermarket to pick up some Peanut Butter. I decided to finally try Peanut Butter & Co “White Chocolate Wonderful” since I am always seeing it on different blogs. I was caught off guard when the cashier told me that this jar was $6.29! D’OH!!!! Is that what you guys pay for it?? That is BANANAS! She asked me if I was SURE that I wanted it…I nodded my head yes and walked out in shame with my 6 Dollar PB but it was well worth it….
I got to the office and tried it out. It tasted really good but I just wish that it was a little more creamier. I tossed it in some Strawberry Chobani Yogurt with one of April's yummy cookies. Fabulous Breakfast! They also had a Cinnamon Raisin Flavor, is it good? I need to get my hands on some coupons lol so that I can try all the other flavors! What is your fave????
Have a fabulous day…
Namaste…
