Eats and Workouts:
Ayer for Lunch I had 1/2 a cup of Brown Rice with 1 cup of Black Beans with Onions and Peppers….these two pots have lasted me all week! SCORE! I paired it with 1/2 a Banana.
After work, I rushed and changed and then headed to the gym with my sister. We got there at a great time, it was not that crazy and we were able to use various machines. We hopped on the treadmills first…and now it is time for a confession. This is the first time I have ever been on a treadmill! (((GASP))))) When I told my friend this last night, she said “How have YOU never been on one?”. Simple, I did all of my walking and running outdoors! And whenever I trained a client, I would not go on it with them.
This felt so strange! I felt like a drunk person lol. Am I the only one that finds treadmills strange? I should also state that I have a slight fear of escalators so it only seems right that this machine would scare me too. I wanted to run on it but I was scurred that I would fall right off so instead I played with the inline and the speed. I have to get used to it for a bit and then I will start jogging on it…what speed do normally use for an easy paced jog? It’s so sad too because in my head I would tell myself “Okay now RUN” but my legs were not having it lol. I need to get over this fear so I can train for my 5k.
We stayed on the treadmills for 30 minutes and then did 20 minutes of lower body strength training and then I did 10 minutes with the Arc Trainer (sis did bike) and burned a total of 603 in 1 hour and 3 minutes.
I then went back home and did laundry…which that in itself is another workout…carrying that huge bag up and down 4 flights of stairs lol.
For din din I made myself a Green Monster with:
- Spinach
- 2 scoops of Chocolate LMM
- Peanut butter
- 1/2 a Banana
- Splenda

This morning I had a date with Jil Jil! I need to start planning my workouts a little better because today’s workout was focused on lower body…ouch. I ended up burning 300 Calories in 36 minutes.
For breakfast I had a bowl of Chobani Honey Yogurt with PB and 1/2 a Banana with my usual café con leche. Do you guys heat up your Yogurt messes? I love to toss everything in the bowl and heat it up for about 20 seconds
Then I take it out, mix it up, and heat it up for 20 more seconds. I guess I like this because the weather is cold and I prefer my yogurt warm…I am sure once the weather starts to warm up; I will have it cold again.
I am so very tired and today will be another loooooong day…I am training my client tonight at 6pm and probably wont get to relax until 8ish. I plan to have din din before training her so that I am not starving during the session. Do you ever feel like you are going going going?
