TGIF Loves!!!!!!! It is a gloomy rainy day in NYC but it’s okay because it is FRIIIIIDAY!
Thanks to everyone who gave me some tips with my Foam Roller…and a SPECIAL THANK YOU TO NAOMI!!!!! who went above and beyond and created this foam roller routine for me! I still feel a little awkward when I am stretching out on it but I am happy to say that my shins ARE feeling better. It might be the foam roller or the fact that I have been taking it easy the past couple of days (I have only been doing Yoga and stretches with the FR) either way, I am happy. Oh FYI using the FR is also great for arm strength training since you are holding yourself up when you are stretching out your legs.
Eats
Ayer for Breakfast I had Chobani Honey Yogurt with 1/2 a Banana, and PB with my usual cafe con leche.
For Lunch I enjoyed a delicious Green Monster made with
- Spinach
- 1/2 a Banana
- Peanut Butter
- Chocolate LMM
- Splenda
And a mini LemonZest Luna Bar
I was planning to enjoy a home cooked meal for din din but my mom received some great news ayer and wanted to celebrate by going to 5 Burros! I decided to order the most amazing, refreshing, tasty, delicious SALAD EVER! She was so nice that I had to snap a picture twice!
Ensalada Mexicana con Camaron (Fresh Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato, Onion, Cilantro, Lime, Shrimp, and 5 Burro House Dressing)
I also had some refried beans on the side…
I also snacked on some guacamole AND since I am only human, I stole two of my sisters nachos (no meat).
Is it lame that I never knew that 5 Burros stood for 5 Boroughs?! Queens, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. My sister pointed out that the Burros had the tats on their bum, each with one borough lol.

This morning I had they yummiest yogurt mess! Chobani Honey Yogurt, with 1 Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, 1/2 a Banana, and PB…with my usual cafe con leche
I decided that I am finally going to watch Food Inc. today, I might be one of the last bloggers (Jess too) who has not seen it. The main reason that I have been so hesitant (and scared) to watch it is because I am very VERY Anti Animal Cruelty and I don’t know how far they take it. I cry at the circus and ASPCA commercials so this will be tough for me to sit through…BUT I need to watch this already so if anything I will fwd through those particular scenes…
I am off to catch up with Dante and magazines…have a great day loves!
Namaste…
