Hello my lovely bloggies and friendly lurkers hahaha….I hope everyone is having a great hump day! I am still in my pj’s and loving every minute of it. I am waiting for the fridge repair man to call me so I know the status of my fridge…he said “early” and it’s already 11:30 am! hmmmm. Thankfully my super and his son are working in the scary apartment today, so I was able to go in there and get some Spinach and a Banana without peeing in my pants in fright lol.
Green Monster Challenge
My challenge is going great! Ayer for lunch I had one with Spinach, Banana, 1 Scoop of Light Muscle Milk, Peanut Butter, Splenda, and Water
And this morning for Desayuno I had one with Spinach, Banana, 1 Scoop of Light Muscle Milk, Peanut Butter, Coffee, Splenda, and Water
Bloggie Date!
Ayer I had a din din date with Missy and Mo and I was so excited. Missy has been dying to go back to Ginza ever since our first date there lol and Mo has never been there so I knew this was going to be a fun night. Since I don’t have a car anymore, we had to take a looooong MTA trip there but trust me, it IS worth it!
I frequent Ginza quite a lot and I never get tired of the way they greet me when I walk through the door…I feel like Norm from “Cheers” hahaha
The last time Missy went to Ginza with me, she was HESITANT to try the Octopus Salad and since this was the first time we met, I didn’t want to pressure her but now that we are actual friends, I MADE her try it since she promised the last time that she would. Thankfully Mo wanted to try it so it was 2 against 1 haha
I am happy to say that Missy and Mo both enjoyed it! Missy even went back for seconds =) I TOLD YOU IT WAS MUY BUENO =)
Thankfully after this, they trusted me enough to order our rolls…
We started off with:
Godzilla; Fried Spicy Tuna, Avocado, Scallion, Masago, and Topped with Spicy Sauce
Liki 4: Spicy Shrimp and Crab Roll
And they picked the Salmon and Avocado Roll
All three rolls were made with brown rice
(Godzilla is on the left, Liki 4 in the middle, and Salmon on the right)
Missy and Mo both enjoyed Saki and Beer =)…I stuck with diet coke lol
We were still hungry after eating those rolls so we decided to get 2 more lol…this time they were:
Amanda: Spicy Tuna, Kani, Cucumber, Scallion, Crunch, Avocado, and Mango Sweet Sauce on top.
Shrimp Tempura: Fried Shrimp and Carrots
(Amanda is on the Bottom and Shrimp Tempura is on top)
This was the first time that I tasted the Amanda and honestly the only reason I gave it a look was because it had the name of one of my fave bloggies! hahaha…I am glad it did because it was delish! I enjoyed the sweet and spicy combo.
I don’t know if it was my hunger but everything tasted delish!
We were very happy girls once our bellies were full! We even snapped a picture with Peter the owner….He is such a sweet man!
Namaste…
