Hello my loves!!!!! Before I even begin, I just want to say a quick “Gracias” to Mansana for doing such a fabulous post ayer!!!!
The last time we spoke I was heading out to Chaperone my niece’s class trip to the MOMA but when I got there…huh what the heezy, this isn't the MOMA?!?! We ended up going to Metropolitan Museum of Art!
My sister told me the wrong place…I sense a conspiracy here??? She lured me under false pretense! lol
The best part (((insert sarcasm here)))) was that we got there super late and were only able to stay for about 25 minutes! Here are some of the pictures that I snapped that are NOT blurry from walking in warp speed…
Is it me or is home fries flying in this picture????
Eats and Workouts…
Wednesday
I walked to Hailey’s school before the trip, about 1.5 miles and burned 176 Calories…
After the trip, we met up with my mom and sister for a fabulous day of shopping (Deja Vu lol). We went to Traders, Tar-Jay, Mall, and Walmart…I got so many goodies including a new Hand Blender (thanks mommy!)
A New Pair of Converse…
I looooove Converse but my feet, not so much so what I do is get one size bigger and then insert some insoles to make them “feet friendly”
While we were shopping, we went to Panera Bread for lunch, I ordered the Turkey Artichoke sammie (MY FAVE) but got Mozzarella cheese instead of Turkey…I really missed the Turkey but this tasted pretty good too =)
And I paired it with the Salmon Caesar Salad….yuuuuums
I also had some Cinnamon Pretzel Sticks from Auntie Anne’s while we were in the Mall…

Thursday
When I woke up I had a glass of Light Silk Chocolate Soy Milk
I was dressed and ready to go to the park and when I was outside, I realized that my iTouch was dead! FAIL!!!!! I walked back inside. No itouch = No Music AND No Nike Plus = NO BUENO! Instead I did Level 1 and 2 of 30 Day Shred and Foam Roller Stretching and burned 518 Calories. A couple of people said (on twitter) that they would have gone to the park regardless but I took it as a sign…God wanted me to stay home lol…
For Breakfast I had a new favorite…CARAMEL OIKOS!!!!
With the Chocolate Apple Cinnamon Protein Muffin that I made the other day
And my usual Cafe con Leche
For Lunch I made myself a Green Monster with Frozen Spinach, Frozen Banana, PB, 1 scoop of Light Muscle Milk, and Splenda
and a Lemon Zest Luna Bar
For Din Din I made a Kick Ass Pizza!!!!!! I usually use regular Marinara Sauce but decided to give this Sauce specifically made for Pizza a try. It was all natural and only 30 calories per serving and tasted delish!
I made the pizza with Trader Joe’s WW Dough, Part Skim Mozzarella, Ragu Pizza Sauce, Olives, and Mushrooms…ohhh and LOVE hahaha

I have seen so many delish recipes on blogs for muffins and I decided to create my own!
Chocolate and Banana Protein Muffins with Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup of Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 Cup of Oat Bran
3 Ripe Bananas
2 TBSP Ground Flax Seed
3 TBSP Chocolate Morsels
3 scoops of Chocolate Protein Powder (I used Light Muscle Milk)
1/4 cup of Egg Whites (I THINK NEXT TIME I WILL DO 1/3)
6 Packets of Splenda
1.5 TSP Baking Powder
.5 TSP Baking Soda
First I mashed the Bananas…
Then I tossed in the remaining Ingredients and mixed it all together with my new hand blender =)
I sprayed the Muffin pan with Pam and then scooped them in…it made 7 muffins
Baked at 350 for 25 minutes..let it cool and ENJOY!
I think someone has a 6th Sense! Look who came knocking on my door once the muffins were fresh out of the oven…MO!!!!!!!!
And she gave them the Food Snob Seal of Approval!
I think they were a little hard which is why I will use more egg whites the next time. Bakers out there…What would you do to moisten up the muffins?
Even though they were a little tough, I still think they were delish!
Each Muffin came out to 182 Calories and are packed with Fruit, Fiber, AND Protein!!!!! Oh AND FLAVOR
Thanks Mo for the surprise visit AND for the Green Bag AND Picture Frame!
Peekaboo I see you!
