I am such a happy girl! Yes, my allergies have been kicking my butt but ayer I had such a great day that I didn’t even notice (well I did but still lol)
I started the day off with some Overnight Oats…which consisted of Oat Bran, Oikos Honey Yogurt, Splenda, Cinnamon, Vanilla, Raisins, and topped with Peanut Butter with my usual Cafe con Leche on the side…
I then did some Bhangra Masala before heading out…
Anyone that knows me in the “Real World’’ knows that I have a slight obsession with Sex and the City! I can recite all the episodes word for word and you can basically quiz me on ANYTHING related to the show and I will know the answer. When I heard that they were making a sequel to the movie, I almost burst with excitement!
I went to the movies with my sister and prima…We got to the theater REALLY early so I got to enjoy some beautiful scenery at Atlas Park before the movie started. If you live in Queens, I recommend going to Regal Cinemas in Atlas Park, it is a beautiful escape.
I spy a Fountain…
After over an hour wait, it was finally time to reconnect with some old friends…
If you are a TRUE fan of the show this movie will NOT let you down. I laughed so hard and actually cheered in certain scenes…I won’t give anything away because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but it was a great movie. I already want to go see it again lol.
Side note; If you take your toddlers to the movies in NYC, be prepared to get thrown out by your peers when they start to cry!
After the movies my sister and I headed to Austin Street for din din. We were planning to go to 5 Burros but the wait was too long so my sister suggested that we go the Bangkok Cuisine; Thai Culinary Fusion
I love the atmosphere of this restaurant; the colors are very tranquil….I am a sucker for a Green color scheme.
My pictures don’t do this place any justice; go check out their site and look at their amazing photos.
Bangkok Cuisine has impeccable service…they are very attentive and friendly. We were seated right away and the food arrived just as fast.
We started off with Shrimp and Crabmeat Spring Rolls with Plum Sauce
For her main course, my sister ordered the Rama Shrimp dish which is sautéed Shrimp and Vegetables in Peanut Sauce…
I ordered the Cashew Nut dish which is sautéed Sweet Onions, Scallions, Peppers, Pineapples, Roasted Peppers, Cashew Nuts, and Shrimp
Both dishes came with a side of rice, I chose brown.
The food tasted great, I especially loved my sister’s dish because it was spicy (I heart spicy cuisine). I was kicking myself in the bum for not ordering it myself but the best part of going out to eat with your sis is that you get to share your food! Thanks Jen!
I recommend Bangkok Cuisine to anyone who is looking to eat some delicious Thai food with excellent service!

Today has been a lazy day thus far…I woke up pretty late because I was up half the night with a stuffy nose and coughing. I shared some notes with Jess about SATC on the phone and they pried myself out of bed to run some errands…I then came home and had some Breakfast.
OIAJ!
Oat Bran and Sliced Strawberries with my usual Cafe con Leche.
Today my day will consist of studying, working out, baking, and tv watching! Mañana I am heading to NJ to celebrate my nephews birthdays! One just turned 7 ayer and the other will be 9 mañana so today will be a low key day.
How is your weekend going? anything fun? or just relaxing?
Namaste…
