Hey loves!!!! I hope everyone is having a great day….I have soooo much to catch you guys up on, so let’s get right to it!
The other day Missy and I were talking about taking a trip and at the last minute, we decided to go to Boston on Saturday!!!! We were lucky enough to get a great deal though Megabus and even luckier because we got to spread out on the bus…
The bus trip went pretty well except for one thing…the annoying guy sitting behind me!!! The entire bus ride, he was chomping on Apples, Crackers, and Celery. It was such an obnoxious sound!!! It took everything in me, not to turn around and slap him. Thankfully the bus had outlets for our cell phones and Twitter entertained us! We pretty much hijacked twitter during the bus ride lol
Finally after 4 hours, we arrived at the South Station….
It was a perfect fall day for some sight seeing!!!!
Before heading to Boston; we made sure to tell one of our favorite Boston bloggers, Naomi !!!!! And she was sweet enough to pick us up from the bus station and take us to Newbury street for lunch.
She suggested some places for lunch but once she said Greek…I yelled “YES"!”. I have been craving Falafel for what seems like forever! Naomi took us to Steve’s Greek restaurant and the food was amazing but the service not so much. When I walked in, I asked the waitress how she was and her reply was “TIIIIRED!” she also managed to get Missy’s order wrong AND then took the check back because she realized it had to be more money….
Thankfully this was able to take the bad taste out of my mouth because of her…
As I mentioned earlier, Missy and I were tweeting like tweetaholics on the bus but thank God that we were because Ashleigh reminded us that she also lived in Boston and could meet us too! This was turning out to be a great day…
Me and Missy
Ashleigh and Naomi (such beautiful girls!!!!)
Unfortunately Naomi had to leave us (sad panda) but she dropped us off at Faneuil Hall before we parted ways…
We passed by a t-shirt stand and you know what I had to get!!!!!!
After seeing the touristy things, Ashleigh took us to Sissy K’s to grab a beer…
We then headed back to the bus station and on our way; we passed by a firehouse. I have a slight obsession with Firefighters but I even have a bigger obsession for Boston Accents…both things together is pretty much epic for me! I started to take a picture outside the firehouse and one of them spotted us and let us in to take more pictures!!!! He even let us wear a helmet and offered to get us a suit but I think that would have been too much lol.
This was such a perfect day!!!!!
After saying our goodbyes to Ashleigh and Bean town, Missy and I boarded our bus and headed back to NYC. We tried to get some rest on the bus because we were planning to head to our favorite bar for some drinks with my sister and some friends…
We enjoyed some Blue Moons and great music!
After the bar closed at 4 am, we realized how hungry we were since we never had din din…so we headed to a local diner for some grub…we ordered Onion Rings for the table…
And I enjoyed some cheese fries…this totally hit the spot….
After “dinner” my sis and and a friend came back to my place and I basically stayed up for 27 plus hours!!!!!! But it was all worth it…I met some great new blog friends, toured a city that I have never been to, and heard “Bawston” accents!!!!!! FABULOUS DAY!!!!!!

I didn’t wake up until 3 PM on Sunday and then I remembered that I had to get ready for my date!!!!! He had mentioned to me that he loved banana bread so I decided to surprise him with my Banana and Chocolate Protein Muffins with Chocolate Chips…which he loved!!!!!
I was bored since he was running a little so I decided to take a picture of my outfit for ya’ll to see lol
He finally showed up and it was worth the wait…he brought me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers!!!! I love that he listened to me when I said what flowers I loved!!!!!
We then headed to my favorite Italian restaurant for din din….We started off with some Bruschetta
For my main course, I ordered the Calamari and Shrimp with Marinara Sauce…this will always be my favorite dish at this restaurant; I don’t even have to look at the menu.
I also saved room for dessert….Tiramisu time!
This was a great weekend!!!!!!!!
Turbo Fire Update!!!!!! I officially started week 11 today and love it!!!! Oh and in other Turbo Fire News…Naomi is looking to sell her COMPLETE set at a great price…Contact her if you are interested!
